Our 30th Birthday Party!
We were each presented with a team t-shirt (green, white or charcoal) and made our way to Birmingham where the day’s activities would begin.
We started off at Escape Rooms where each team was allocated one of the 3 rooms: a spooky ‘Room 13’, a retro ‘Time Machine & ‘The Lab’. After we had finished, it was revealed that Team Charcoal came out on top as the overall quickest to escape the challenge!
Following a wonderful lunch kindly sponsored by The Macdonald Burlington, the 3 teams competed in a treasure hunt in Birmingham City Centre. The finishing point was Ghetto golf. This really brought out the competitive (but friendly) team spirit and the golf course certainly putt (pun intended) our skills to the test.
Our celebratory dinner was held in Lost and Found and the winning team was announced: The Charcoal Team!! Debbie, Nichola, Lee, Steph & Syed!!
After a busy day, we took ourselves up to bed at the Burlington and slept very well indeed…. And most of the team made it down for breakfast the next day!
